What our notes are
The current articles are explanatory calculation guides written for this site. They combine original worked examples, diagrams and references to relevant manufacturer or retailer guidance. They are not installation reports, product reviews or evidence of hands-on testing.
How we handle calculations
The calculators use the formulas shown on each tool page. Package quantities round up after the geometric calculation and any chosen allowance. Wallpaper is estimated by complete strips from each roll. We test common examples, metric conversions, whole-package boundaries and invalid inputs.
Coverage, prices and allowances are user inputs. Example values are not live prices, universal recommendations or product guarantees. Currency selection changes formatting and does not perform an exchange-rate conversion.
Sources and updates
Product-specific instructions take priority over a general explanation here. Where we discuss product context, we link to the source. Publication dates reflect this first release. A date will only change when the relevant content changes.
Corrections
If a result seems wrong, keep the original dimensions, units, product coverage and allowance so that the calculation can be reproduced. Send those details to contact@kitcove.xyz. Do not include personal addresses or payment details.
