YOUR PROJECT, YOUR SPACE

Privacy.

The planner calculates on your device. Its code does not send your stitch counts, fabric choice or margin to a server.

Calculator inputs

Values you enter are used in your browser to calculate and display a plan. There is no account, registration form or project upload. Refreshing the page resets the form to the example unless you choose to restore a plan you previously saved.

Optional browser storage

Nothing is saved by the planner until you press “Save in this browser”. That action stores one plan in local storage under the key stitch-size-plan-v1. The saved data contains stitch width, stitch height, Aida count, margin and margin unit. Saving a new plan replaces the previous one.

“Restore saved plan” reads that record into the form. “Forget saved plan” removes it. You can also remove it through your browser’s site-data settings. It stays in that browser profile and is not a cloud backup. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to restore it.

Cookies and third parties

This version of Stitch Size sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising, embedded video, social widgets or remotely loaded fonts. All assets needed for the planner are served with the site. Advertising is disabled.

Guides link to external references such as DMC and NIST. Opening one of those links takes you to another website, where that operator’s privacy practices apply. Those sites are not contacted merely to run this planner.

Website delivery

Your browser must request pages and assets from the host serving this site. As part of ordinary delivery, the host receives technical connection information such as an IP address and requested URL. This site is hosted on Alibaba Cloud in mainland China under demo.19soul.cn. Access and security logs are handled by the hosting configuration. The planner itself does not upload saved plans or add tracking requests or analytics identifiers.

Printing and changes

Printing uses your browser’s own print dialog. The destination you choose, including a connected or cloud printer, determines what happens to the print job. Before adding analytics, advertising or other third-party features, this privacy information needs to be reviewed and updated to describe the actual deployment.
